Maria is a Principal with nearly two decades of experience in assurance, tax, and accounting advisory services. She leads audit and review engagements for clients across construction, healthcare, government, and nonprofit sectors, with particular expertise in contractor licensing and compliance across multiple states. Maria also oversees tax planning and compliance for individuals, businesses, estates, and nonprofits, providing hands-on guidance and review of key filings, including Forms 1120, 1065, 1040, and 990. In addition to supervising payroll and bookkeeping operations, she partners with clients to streamline internal controls and strengthen financial processes. Maria holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Management from McNeese State University and is an active member of the AICPA and TSCPA.
