Charles brings over 35 years of experience in public and corporate accounting to his role as Principal. He has deep expertise in tax planning and compliance for corporations, estates, nonprofits, and individuals, as well as audit services for governmental entities throughout Virginia. His background includes serving as CFO for a nonprofit acute care hospital and physician practice, where he managed multimillion-dollar budgets and led financial operations for a 300-person team. Charles also served as a fiscal agent for a commercial contractor in the US Virgin Islands, managing large-scale post-disaster infrastructure projects. A graduate of Virginia Tech, Charles is licensed in Virginia and is an active member of the AICPA and VSCPA. He also holds multiple leadership roles in community organizations, including the UVA Wise Foundation and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Charles is known for his practical insight, financial acumen, and commitment to both clients and community.
